THE DO’s

  • Drink at least 2 litres of water a day
  • Go for low GI wholegrain carbs
  • Eat smaller meals every 3 hours (don’t skip meals)
  • Fill at least half of your plate with salad and veggies
  • Eat slowly – enjoy and savour your food
  • Dish your food on a plate
  • Stock your fridge with healthy options
  • Have a cheat meal once a week – don’t make a day of it
  • Listen to your hunger
  • Make healthy choices because you want to be healthy
  • For best results avoid alcohol

  • Cut out all fizzy drinks and fruit juice
  • Say no to white carbs
  • Don’t eat between meals and snacks, stick to meal times
  • Avoid fried foods
  • Don’t eat while doing something else
  • Avoid eating out of the pot and picking
  • Don’t buy things you can’t resist
  • Don’t feel guilty about treating yourself, just move on
  • Don’t overeat
  • Don’t do things just because you want to lose weight
  • Leave the mixers and don’t binge drink
